On the 19th, 20th, and 22nd of June 2009 as part of the 2009 Donegal Garden Trail, Dorothy Jervis will open up her Seaview Garden in County Donegal to the public. Dorothy hopes to raise funds to for Fields of Life's ongoing work in East Africa. The garden is described as, "A plant enthusiast's garden, with herbaceous and shrub borders, planted to give year-round colour and interest. This cottage gaden is south facing with beautiful uninterrupted views over Donegal Bay. The whole garden is a haven for wildlife."
There are 23 gardens spread throughout the county that take part in the Donegal Garden Trail, and Seaview is but one of them. Hours for viewing are from 2pm- 6pm, with viewing at other times by appointment only.
Directions to the garden: Take N56 from Donegal Town to Mountcharles, in village take downhill road past RC church, turn right at churchyard, continue to T-juntion, turn left, pass Salthill House to seafront, turn right, follow lane to Seaview.
