On May 23, 2008, Ian Taylor became the youngest Irishman to stand on the summit of Mt. Everest. In June 2007 Ian and friend Graham Kinch set out to climb four mountains on four continents in one year with Mt. Everest being the final climb. They took on the challenge to raising funds for Fields of Life and raised $100,000 to build the Mt. Everest Primary school in Kitandwe, Uganda.

Based in Colorado now, Ian and his wife Laura sponsor two children at the Mt. Everest primary school and after visiting Fields of Life projects on the ground in Uganda numerous times Ian wants to see the Fields of Life mission lived out to its fullest.
