Angom is located in Iceme Sub-County, Oyam District, Northern Uganda.
The community here have been depending on a very busy borehole which is 1.5km away in the nearby village. This has resulted in the community members using a lot of their time during the day to walk to collect water, instead of attending school and carrying out domestic and economic activities.
This new water source has been timely for the community, it will change their lives because they no longer have to walk 3km to collect water and the community have pledged to take good care of this new water source that has been provided.
This is the 703rd borehole drilled by Fields of Life and it now provides clean water for 75 households.
Thank you to the generous donor who has provided this life saving gift!
