Apari is located in Kakure Sub-County, Kaberamaido District, Eastern Uganda.
The Apari community have been depending on a congested borehole which is 1.5km away in the next village. This has resulted in the community members using a lot of their time during the day to walk to collect water, instead of attending school and carrying out domestic and economic activities.
The new water source will change lives for the community members because they no longer have to walk 3km to look for water. This is the 680th borehole drilled by Fields of Life and it now provides clean water for 126 households.
Thank you to the generous donor who has provided this life saving gift!
