The Apolo Na Ngor Well is located at an education institution in Bukedea District in the Eastern part of Uganda where access to clean water is still a very big problem. The students had to rely on the supply of town water which wasn’t always available, so often children had to go several days without water or walk 4km to the nearest source.
The Apolo Na Ngor Well will provide clean fresh water for the students and staff as well as 115 neighbouring households, within an average of 9 people per household; therefore over 1,500 people will receive the gift of water.
