This Obanga-Twero Well is found in the Alebtong District situated in Northern Uganda. The Nearest water source has been a well, which has put a lot of lives at a risk due to water borne diseases because it is exposed to pathogens. This community were walking 1km to collect this dirty water.
The new well will benefit 67 households with an average of 9 members each, therefore over 600 people will receive safe, clean drinking water. The well will not only save lives but it is building hope for this community.
