Omonyono is located in Bukedea in the North Eastern part of Uganda; this community has over 112 households that have had to walk up to 3km to a borehole in the neighboring community to fetch water. This resulted in many of the community members having to abandon their other duties to go and line up for water.
This well has been very timely for the Omonyono community, and will bring clean drinking water to over 1,000 people.
