Fields of Life exists to be an effective Christian response in those parts of the world where there is injustice and suffering. We passionately believe that God is working in and through His people, the local church, across the globe today. We particularly want to support and empower local African leaders who have a heart and concern for the communities they serve in East Africa. Fields of Life is committed to sharing the transforming message of Jesus to those living in extreme poverty and who have no voice.
One of our core values at Fields of Life is to be God Led and People Focused. We want God to be honoured in all that we do and that individuals, regardless of race, gender, religion or ethnic background, are treated with respect, dignity and love. We believe all people are created equal in God’s sight and that each person is unique and special.
Prayer is a powerful way to help the work of Fields of Life. As a Christian organisation, prayer is at the forefront of all we do as we seek God’s guidance in our mission and work. We would love to expand our network of intercessors as our work grows and develops. If your church would like to support us in this way and receive our monthly Prayer Letters please contact [email protected] or you can download the Fields of Life Prayer Letter here.
There are also opportunities to become part of a Fact-Finding trip to East Africa to experience the challenges, fears, hopes and realities of the communities we serve for yourselves. Please contact [email protected] to find out more.
“Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this Question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
