Fields of Life can be a window on the world for the students in your school. We want to inspire young minds to see beyond their own classroom and to learn to empathise with children living very different lives in a very different part of the world.
Providing access to Quality Education is one of our core values at Fields of Life. To date, 120 schools are supported by Fields of Life and this continues to be at the heart of our work in East Africa. We partner with local churches and communities to deliver educational opportunities and to build capacity because we know quality education is the catalyst for real and lasting change. It’s not just about bricks and mortar like classrooms and dormitories, it is also about having well-trained and dedicated teachers who can help unlock potential and release young people trapped in poverty. This of course will resonate with those of you involved with education in the UK and we would love to work with you in the Primary, Secondary or Tertiary sectors.
Fields of Life also runs a Child Sponsorship Programme which can change a child’s life forever. We use a community-based approach which means that the wider school community also benefits. What an incredible gift to give!
Download a copy of our Fundraising pack for schools which provides more information about our work in East Africa and demonstrates how you and your students could get involved in raising money which will change lives, transform communities and build hope. We would be very happy to support you in any way we can. We would also love to come into your school to lead an assembly and share more about the Fields of Life story, or we could help you run an event to fit in with your own school calendar around themes such as Lent, Easter, Harvest, Christmas or Transformation. This year is a rather special one for us at Fields of Life as we are celebrating our 25th Anniversary and are planning a series of African Tea Parties. Is that something your school might enjoy hosting in the summer term?

Have a great term!
