Over €4,000 raised in 40 days

This year six churches, across Dublin and Cork, took on the Fields of Life Lent Challenge to raise money through sacrifice.

Members of the various congregations were tasked with filling “Jerry” with the money they would save from giving up something for Lent.

Fields of Life Lent Challenge

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone at Calvary Cork, Radical Life Cork, Trinity Prebyterian Church Cork, Dun Laoghaire Evangelical Church Dublin, Nazarene Church Greystones and Ballycullen Baptist Church Dublin.

The commitment and generosity of these churches and their congregations, has resulted in €4,750 being raised, to enable Fields of Life to drill a borehole in East Africa. This will provide approximately 1,000 people with access to clean, safe drinking water!

This gift of clean water will reduce the hours spent walking long distance to collect water, allowing children to attend school. It will also greatly reduce the number of water related illness in a community!

Thank you for helping us to change lives and transform communities in East Africa!
