We’ve been busy behind the scenes making lots of exciting plans for our upcoming Storytellers Tour, featuring Nathan Jess and band, this November 2017.
In 2015 the Fields of Life (FOL) Alumni association in Uganda was set up by a group of Fields of Life former sponsored children who want to actively contribute towards our vision by becoming committed ambassadors and giving back, as they once received. These are young people who came from vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds and were sponsored through their education by supporters here in Northern Ireland, Ireland and Great Britain.
One of the FOL Alumni’s first projects is to work together to raise money to build a school in Karamoja, Northern Uganda. Karamoja is one of the poorest regions in Uganda and the FOL Alumni group aim to enable disadvantaged children to attain a quality education in the same way they did.
We are delighted that the Alumni will be joining us in November to tour the UK and Ireland along with FOL Ambassador Nathan Jess as part of The Storytellers Tour. We would love for you to join us at one (or more!) of these exciting events as we are inspired by stories, worship and dance!
