Thames Pathway Challenge

In September a team from Sinclair & Rush took on the mighty Thames Pathway Challenge – 50K in a day walk for water. The day started early with almost 4,000 people on the start line, dancing to a samba beat to warm up we were raring to go… by the halfway point, we were suffering from blisters and a damaged knee.

The day ended late and the sense of achievement was tremendous. We may have sore feet for a day or two, but that is nothing compared to the suffering of the people that we were seeking to support. Charity is close to hearts of the team at Sinclair and Rush and together they raised in excess of £4,000. On behalf of the team at FOL GB we give thanks to their dedication and determination.

The gift of fresh, clean, safe drinking water literally saves lives and transforms the lives of communities living in extreme poverty. With thanks to our intrepid trekkers a community in post conflict Uganda will be in receipt of your generous gift.
